Episode 142 The Gore Begins with a Tribute to Ghiallo Thrillers

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

[When Yellow Casts a Crimson Shadow Audio Drama]Let the Gore begin!! (Sorry, I had to)

Our October scary story month starts off with a stylish and slick (with blood) tribute to Italian Ghiallo thrillers by 19 Nocturne Boulevard.

A woman troubled with mental problems moves into an apartment with several hot girls, who she starts to see brutally murdered in dreams, all of which she confesses to a psychiatrist who is a tad too excited about it all.   Lewd scenes, ultraviolence, and a few good WTF moments.

Happy birthday, 19 Nocturne Boulevard!  We featured them a yearish ago with their brutal Making Book, and now theyve won the Mark Time Award and regularly producing some of the best speculative audio drama around.

Episode 131: Mark Time Winner The Outpost

Friday, July 17th, 2009

[19 Nocturne Boulevard the Outpost]We wrap up our focus on the 2008 Mark Time Awards with the presentation of the Gold Mark Time winner, 19 Nocturne Boulevards The Outpost. We talked to the series diva, Julie Hoverson, back in December so we throw that interview in here for good taste.

In The Outpost, a woman from a matriarchal space-roving society finds herself on a distant space station with& *gasp* & men! What happens is an exploration of differing cultures, world views, and a little bit of good ol humanism.
